Arctic Spas use a simple and effective filtration system called a telescopic, floating weir. The weir adjusts with the water level, to effectively skim the surface of the water. (Where most of the oil, skin, contaminants, etc… accumulate.)
Additional water is drawn from the bottom of the spa through the suction fittings and is then screened through our high capacity filter before returning to the spa. It is important to remember that a higher water flow through the filter, called the turnover rate, is more important than how big the filter is. This is important for crystal clear water.
